John Cazale. What an actor he was! Already sick when this movie was shot, he worked until the end. Rest In Peace, Maestro.
Psychiatry is nothing but hoodoo voodoo-nothing more than a tool used to discredit any one who speaks the truth. What nobody knew is that he actually had a watch up his ass the whole time. You all look alike to me. Movie stream hjorthagency. The Russian Roulette sequence in the movie is to show that men who were drafted during the Vietnam war really had no good choices. Men could draft dodge to Canada, or potentially be arrested. They could go to Vietnam, and get physically, emotionally, or psychologically scarred. The Russian Roulette was to display the fact that the Vietnam war was a no win situation for draftees. Since there are no actual records of Prisoners of War having to play Russian Roulette, it makes sense that Kubrick put it into the film only as a metaphor. He saw the war as a lose-lose situation for anyone who was forced to go to Vietnam, and this was demonstrated in the fact that if you play Russian Roulette, eventually you die.
Meryl Streep looked like an angel! Beautiful! I"m sure the film is great but the trailer is just awful. #4 I don"t believe Mike went back to Vietnam because he told Nick he wouldn"t leave him there. I believe Mike went back because he didn"t feel right pursuing Nicks girlfriend while was still back in Vietnam. Before the men went off to war Mike tried making a pass at Nicks girlfriend but she declined it because Mike was drunk and Nick was there as well. But after Mike got back from the war things started heating up between the two. When Mike got back Nicks girlfriend was a little bit awkward but also overwhelmed with joy. She wanted someone to comfort her and lay in bed with her. But they ended up at a hotel room with her naked in the bed with him. But over the course of time they grew a very strong mental relationship. They both wanted to take it further but wouldn"t dare because the thought of Nick either dead or alive back in Vietnam. I don"t know how but Mike made it back to Nick but when Mike found Nick. Nick was a lifeless robot. He didn"t care about anyone he didn"t seem to know or care for Mike. Nick was just ready to go point a gun to his head with the chance of either living or dying. Sadly when Nick took a seat and played against his best friend Mike. Nick got the bullet to his head and died he was sent back to have a funeral. After the funeral you can tell the start of a relationship between Mike and Nicks girlfriend is starting to bloom now that they have gotten closure of not cheating on Nick and leaving him back in Vietnam.
Had to watch this for an English Writing class, and it was worth every minute watching it. DONT KNOW THIS MOVIE SHOWS MY. A lean night. Movie stream hjorthagent. Granted I didn"t care for the man"s politics or his bigoted statements but the will it took for him to get on the stage and present the award despite being in incredible pain was very courageous. Even though I didn"t agree with him on a lot things John Wayne won my respect. Yet we in Great Britain have survived a history that few other Empires could have. Now its just some Gucci gang and hype beast mumble crap :D.

As much as i love cimino and the deer hunter, the best film of 1978 was really days of heaven by terrence malick. no disrespect to cimino whose best film is year of the dragon. he will be missed. it"s startling to see john wayne in his final days. he is also missed. John Wayne is a god.

Francis was talking about vfx and the internet. I wonder what"s the movie called, because I didnt get to see the name of it through out the trailer. Movie stream hjorthagen. One of the best movies ever. I worked for five days as an extra on The Deer Hunter, appearing in two brief scenes as a a marine in the background/foreground in the final cut. I had the pleasure of meeting both Mr DeNiro and Mr Walken during down times on the Bangkok set. Neither were very famous yet, although DeNiro had Taxi Driver, Mean Streets and The Godfather behind him already. Walken had appeared in a few small films. I"d actually seen one of them, Next Stop Greenwich Village. and had a small part in Annie Hall before working on The Deer Hunter. They were incredibly committed to their roles, particularly DeNiro, who never left character as far I could see, even during long breaks.
